Historic Asbury Park Convention Hall
The focal point of the Asbury Park Boardwalk, Asbury Park Convention Hall is an iconic Jersey Shore landmark. Built between 1928 and 1930 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Convention Hall extends over the beach and offers sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean. This one of a kind venue is impressive both inside and outside, and has a capacity of 3,600 guests. Its large event space can be transformed to accommodate large weddings or other special events.
Asbury Park Convention Hall features the following unique event spaces:
- The Grand Arcade – “The beautiful pass-through between Paramount Theatre and Convention Hall is referred to as the Grand Arcade. There are shops and dining locations throughout the Arcade. The Grand Arcade is a hotspot for blowout concerts and holiday events.”
- Upper Deck Shuffleboard Club – “Hit the deck at Upper Deck Shuffleboard Club, the Asbury Park Boardwalk’s new shuffleboard club located within historic Convention Hall (1300 Ocean Avenue) on the Northern upper level. When push comes to shove, Upper Deck promises to luxuriate with leisure turning the pastime favored by septuagenarians into the next ping-pong amongst the beachfront set. Social meets sporting at this nostalgic tropical throwback.”
- Paramount Theatre – “Thanks to superior acoustics and stage visibility, the Paramount Theatre is the area’s premier venue for live performances. This distinguished venue has a unique atmosphere that has been described as being simultaneously grand and intimate, and offers a seating capacity of approximately 1,600 guests.”
